Easy 2-ingredient bagels at home

It's the weekend! Perfect opportunity to bake. This easy recipe, you only need 2 ingredients and it's super delicious too. And the biggest benefit is that they are lower in calories. What more could you want!


For this recipe you will need self-rising flour. If you don't have this in your house right now, there is an easy solution that I will explain in this recipe.


Ingredients

- 4 1/3 cups of (Self-rising) flour

- 1 cup of Greek yogurt

- 1 egg (optional: to make them nice brown)


Extra ingredients if you only have normal flour

- 3 teaspoons of baking powder

- 1 teaspoon of salt


How to make them?

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees = 190°C

  2. Put the flour in a bowl. If you don't have self-rising flour add in the baking powder and salt and mix together with a spoon.

  3. Add the Greek yogurt and mix with a spoon until you can start kneading the dough.

  4. Knead the dough until the dough bounces back a little.

  5. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and make bagel shapes.

  6. If you want the bagels to be golden brown you can whip up an egg and brush it over the bagels. (You can also add salt, pepper, seeds,... if you like.)

  7. Bake them in the oven for 18-20 min.

  8. Let them cool and enjoy!
